Why basements differ across the county
Burlington County runs from old river towns on the Delaware, with brick and stone cellars, through post-war suburbs, some built on slabs with no basement at all, to wooded Pinelands lots where groundwater can sit close to the surface near lakes and streams. The right fix depends on the house and the ground under it. Rules on where sump water can go, flood zones and permits are set locally, so check with your township or sewer utility.
Burlington Basement Pros is an independent referral service, not a contractor. We do not perform waterproofing, sump pump or foundation work ourselves. When you send a request, we share it with an independent partner contractor serving Burlington County, NJ, who contacts you directly. Any estimate, contract, pricing, licensing, insurance and workmanship are between you and that contractor. Please verify their credentials before you hire.
